About Variety
Arbequina olive oil is characterized by its fluidity and extraordinary fragrance. It is a very fruity oil with a light apple flavor, a green, herbaceous note, very little bitterness or spiciness, and a sweet taste. It is a smooth and very fluid oil on the palate, with specific attributes of green almond, almond, and freshly cut grass. Regarding its acid composition, it has a medium-low oleic acid content and a high level of polyunsaturated fatty acids, which give it its characteristic fluidity. It has a medium content of vitamin E (α-tocopherol) and low total polyphenols, which contribute to the oil's smoothness and sweetness. The resistance to rancidity of Arbequina olive oil can be considered medium-low.
Our Harvest
Nestled between the Font Roja and Sierra de Mariola Natural Parks, this family-run farm spans over 140 hectares, 60 of which are dedicated to Arbequina olive groves, with the remainder cultivated with other native crops (aromatic plants, cherry, walnut, and almond trees). Its location at over 800 meters above sea level, its proximity to the sea, and the Mediterranean climate, combined with the exceptional qualities of the land, create ideal conditions for this type of cultivation.
