Arbequina EVOO from the Torrevella estate

100% Arbequina extra virgin olive oil is one of the most highly valued. It is therefore the least common variety and possesses very beneficial properties.

Limited production extra virgin olive oil. Sotaroni comes from the Arbequina olive, a variety with low production in the Valencian Community. This makes our olive oil almost exclusive to the area. In fact, this olive tree is one of the 10 most important single-varietal olive groves in Spain.

Characteristics

Arbequina extra virgin olive oil is a clear, light green oil. It is very fruity, with notes of apple, fresh grass, and almond. It has a wonderful fragrance, a sweet flavor, and very little bitterness or spiciness. With low acidity (0.11 for Sotaroni EVOO) , it is an ideal oil for low-temperature cooking due to its smoothness and fresh aroma.
